Summer travel links...

Summer is here, well almost, and so is the need to travel.

Whether you are traveling domestically or foreign it is good to remember that it is about relaxing and having fun. If the destination is new, get as much information as possible to help you out.

When I travel on vacation, I try not to take many pictures because I don't want to miss the experiences that occur on the spot. Instead, I write it down during my down time, on my journal.

Deadline to enroll

The deadline to enroll on the Paris, San Sebastian and Barcelona trip is soon approaching. Enroll by Feb 15th to participate in this great tour to amazing sites in France and Spain!

This tour will have a limit of 30 participants.

Getting ready for the tour

As  we get closer to our tour, here are a couple of reminders for everyone.

1. Emergency contact and medical form. Please fill out and send it with your child to me as soon as you have it. I will also pick these up at the meeting. You can find it on the "Important Information" tab.

IMPORTANT! Food Allergies: Please let me know if you have any by email and/or writing it on the medical form.

2. Adapter for your electronics are 2 prong adapters. Target has some, but the website below has a picture. You can also order form here or even Amazon.

3. Three (3) copies of your PASSPORT. Make sure the names are spelled correctly and match the names on your explorica account. (1 copy for youself, 1 for me and 1 to keep at home). Copy the first 2 pages only: the ones with the picture, information and signature.

You may give me the copies at any time, or at the February meeting.

4. Cell phones: If you are planning to take your phone, please check to see that it is a quad band and capable of being used abroad. I don't advise taken one as the fees are high. Text messages however, are about 50¢ (cents) each. You may also have to let your cell phone carrier know that you will be using it abroad.
